In a defensive struggle on Sunday, the Broncos managed to secure a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix threw an early touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning go-ahead field goal to secure the ugly win.

Despite registering nine sacks against Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 following giving up a safety in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets could only produce just 82 total net yards during the contest.

The Denver quarterback, who completed 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's short kick with just over five minutes remaining.
